Buddy L
Producer of many steel toys from 1921 until 2001 when the company was bought out and the name was changed. Although there are a number of Buddy L buses, the type I collect is the steel Greyhound coaches similar in style to the MCI MC-8 and MC-9 buses. The list of buses below show all the styles that I have seen for this series of bus.
Note: Production locations for this series of buses included, China, Japan and Macau.
The green window variants appear to be slightly less available. Finding the bus in a nicer condition or new in the box can be difficult, but slightly used and poorer condition ones can be found easily.
The boxed variations I have found were produced in 1976, 1979, 1983 and 1989. Variations from 1979 and 1983 shared the same style box.
